Case Studies
Real-World CMA Lab Implementations in Progress
Why Some Case Studies Are Not Yet Public
Active Projects. Real Centers. Confidential by Design.
Autism Lab Set Up is currently working with Autism Centers to design and implement in-house CMA workflow rooms. These projects are active and underway, but details are not yet public.
Many healthcare organizations choose to formally announce new diagnostic capabilities during their own grand openings, accreditation milestones or service launches. Until those announcements are made by the centers themselves, we respect their confidentiality and do not publish identifying information, timelines or operational specifics.
This approach protects our partners while ensuring their launches are positioned for success.
Active Implementations –
Case Studies Publishing Soon
“In-house CMA workflow rooms are currently being designed and implemented for Autism Centers. Full case studies will be published after partner-approved launch milestones.”

What We Can Share Right Now
While client names and locations are confidential, these active projects include:
-
Design and build-out of in-house CMA workflow rooms
-
Workflow optimization to reduce genetic test turnaround times
-
Staff training for accurate, repeatable CMA execution
-
CLIA-aligned layout and operational planning
-
Equipment planning and procurement guidance
-
Future-ready designs that support scalability
These implementations are not theoretical. They are being built, trained and prepared for live clinical use.
Why Confidentiality Matters in Autism Diagnostics
Genetic testing programs are often tied to:
-
regulatory approvals
-
clinical leadership announcements
-
payer and referral relationships
-
community and family communications
Premature disclosure can disrupt these processes. We intentionally allow each Autism Center to control how and when they introduce new diagnostic capabilities to their patients and referring providers.
When Case Studies Will Be Published
Once our partner centers complete their launches and approve public disclosure, we will publish full case studies outlining:
-
the challenges they faced before in-house CMA testing
-
how the workflow was designed and implemented
-
operational and diagnostic improvements achieved
-
lessons learned that benefit other Autism Centers
These case studies will provide real-world insight without compromising patient care or organizational strategy.
What This Means for Your Center
If you are evaluating in-house CMA testing, these active projects demonstrate that:
-
Autism Centers nationwide are moving CMA in-house
-
The model is operationally viable and scalable
-
Confidential, center-first implementation is standard practice
You do not need to wait for published case studies to begin planning. Many centers choose to move forward based on private consultations and peer-level discussions.
Speak With a CMA Lab Set Up Specialist
If you would like to discuss how CMA workflows are being implemented today without public case study exposure, we’re happy to talk.
Case studies will be added as soon as our partner centers are ready to share their success publicly.
